LISA C. HAHN — President & CEO
Lisa Hahn, president of Caugherty Hahn Communications, Inc. (CHC), is an expert in public relations and corporate communications. A 20-plus-year public relations veteran, Hahn counsels businesses on effective communications strategy.

CHC's areas of expertise center on corporate communications, crisis communications, media relations and community relations. The agency's clients have included large privately held corporations to non-profit organizations including Canada Life Assurance Company, Foster & Gallagher, Inc., Schindler Elevator Corporation, The Valley Hospital, The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, Riverside Square, Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Fund, Omaha Steaks, and Luggage & Leather Goods Manufacturers of America.

Hahn was public relations director for The Direct Marketing Association where she handled major issues facing the industry including privacy, postal, environmental, telemarketing and image. She also launched the catalog shopping story for the industry. As spokesperson for the 3,600+ member association, Hahn was regularly interviewed on network and cable news, radio, magazines and newspapers from coast-to-coast.

Hahn handled national and international PR campaigns at two top international PR agencies - Carl Byoir and Associates and Doremus Porter Novelli - and began her public relations career at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City where she worked with national and international news media.

Hahn is an adjunct professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey, a member of the prestigious Counselors Academy of the Public Relations Society of America, and a frequent speaker on public relations at business conferences. She serves as secretary of the Board of Trustees of West Side Presbyterian Church, and is a member of the church's Rebuilding Steering Committee. She also serves on the development committee for West Bergen Mental Healthcare, and is a Girl Scout leader.

A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a B.A. in fine arts, Hahn attended the American University of Cairo, Egypt, and was the university's first arts instructor.


RICHARD COYLE, APR — Director
Richard Coyle, APR, specializes in business marketing. His 175+ client experiences have included private, IPO and public companies in the food (Best Foods, Grand Met/Burger King, McDonald's), entertainment (Lorimar, Barbara Walters, Dudley Moore), medical-pharmaceutical (Cooper, Vista, Pharmaceutical Formulations), technology (AskJeeves, Blue Martini, Yesmail.com) and telecommunications (Pacific Telesis, BellSouth) industries.

He began his public relations career with Liggett & Myers Tobacco (Grand Met) and served in senior public relations positions at CPC International (Unilever); international public relations firms Fleishman-Hillard, Golin-Harris and Burson-Marsteller.

Coyle is the editor of The McGraw-Hill Handbook of American Depositary Receipts (1995) and of Financial Disclosure: The Handbook of Annual and Quarterly Reports (c. 1983, 1979). He holds the Certificate of Accreditation and membership in the College of Fellows, Public Relations Society of America, and is a recipient of the PRSA Investor Relations Silver Anvil, and on two occasions the President's Citation for Meritorious Service.

He has served as Visiting Lecturer at Rutgers University School of Business and Accounting and at Ramapo College of New Jersey, and as a volunteer management consultant with the National Executive Service Corps to various New Jersey non-profit organizations. He earned masters degrees in both political science and journalism from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, where he established the Blair Pierce Turner History Scholarship Award.

JOHN N. HAHN — Partner & CFO
John Nugent Hahn, partner and CFO of Caugherty Hahn Communications, Inc., is responsible for finance, operations, internal and client training, technology, and client creative concepts. Hahn has 25 years experience in sales, marketing, and data processing. An award-winning speaker, Hahn assists clients in developing effective communications skills, including delivery of presentations to a variety of audiences.

John has been instrumental in managing the growth of CHC as it developed from a solo practitioner status to a staffed agency.

Prior to joining Caugherty Hahn Communications, he worked for Storage Technology, Information Builders, and Kidder Peabody.

He is a past president of Park Toastmasters, part of the Toastmasters International public speaking organization. He volunteers time to recruit volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, as well as fund raise for New York Public Radio WNYC AM & FM.

An avid thespian, Hahn enjoys performing with community theater groups throughout northern New Jersey, and is founding director of Dickens & Friends. Hahn holds a B.A. in Business from St. Michael's College in Winooski, Vermont.
